Why being minimalist is simply better
As someone once said, less is more

There’s a big difference between living with a lot of stuff and living with very little, at least when it comes to material things.
In my case, I try to live with as little as possible and avoid accumulating things. I like being able to easily count all my belongings and knowing that if tomorrow I had to move or go on a trip, everything I own would fit into a single backpack.
It makes me feel light. It gives me a lot of mental peace not having to decide what to bring and what to leave behind because I ran out of space, or because I need a huge suitcase.
When you own very few things, the number of daily decisions goes down, and that saves you time. You stop wasting energy on decisions that don’t really matter, like:
What clothes should I bring on this trip?
What should I take to this place?
What outfit should I wear today?
Not owning much is great because you don’t have to deal with the frustration of leaving things behind just because you’re carrying too much or don’t have enough space. Having less lets you carry everything with you, ideally in a single backpack.
Personally, my wardrobe is very limited. In fact, all my clothes are basically the same. I dress the same every day. At first, this can feel a bit uncomfortable because you might think people assume you’re always wearing the same clothes or that you don’t shower. But over time you get used to it, and honestly, no one really cares. Very few people have ever commented on the fact that I always dress the same.
You can own very few things, but at least make them high quality. In my opinion, it’s better to have 4–6 high-quality t-shirts than 25–40 low or medium quality ones. Cheap things tend to wear out faster, and the money you spend on five low-quality t-shirts could have been used to buy one good one that lasts much longer. The same applies to everything else: shoes, tech, personal care, and so on.
